19650 1/27/26 LEGAL NOTICE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gila County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, beginning at 10:00 A.M. to hear citizens who may wish to comment on: ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2026-01 AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 2025-06: The Gila County Board of Supervisors will consider adopting Ordinance No. 2026-01, amending Ordinance No. 2025-06. The amendment responds to a written request from Terry Gorton Vesci (Applicant) to clarify and revise the wording of Condition No. 2 of Ordinance No. 2025-06. The wording is proposed to change from “five 4-acre custom home sites” to “not more than five 4-acre custom home sites”, in order to accurately reflect the intent and limitations of the previously approved zoning. The property affected is Assessor’s Parcel Number 301-66-116U, rezoned from Commercial Two (C-2) District to Residential One District Limited Density Forty (R1L-D40). No other changes to the approved zoning are proposed. The public hearing will take place at the Gila County Courthouse, Board of Supervisors’ Hearing Room, 1400 E. Ash Street, Globe, Arizona. One or more of the Board members may participate in the meeting by telephone conference call or by interactive television (ITV). The meeting will be televised to the Gila County Complex, Board of Supervisors’ Conference Room, 707 S. Colcord Road, Payson, Arizona, and it will be live-streamed at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkCHWVqrI5AmJKbvYbO-k2A/live . Citizens may submit comments related to this agenda item by no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, by emailing the Clerk of the Board at casrarynezami@gilacountyaz.gov or calling 928-402-4390. Comments may also be input through YouTube during the public hearing portion of the meeting. Please include the meeting date, agenda item number, your name, and residence address in the email. All comments are public information and subject to release. Citizens can also attend this hearing in person in Globe or Payson to provide their comments.
