19773 6/30/26 LEGAL NOTICE GILA COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gila County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 16, 2026, beginning at 10:00 A.M. The hearing will take place in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 610 E. State Highway 260, Payson, Arizona, and will be simultaneously telecast to the Public Works Conference Room, located at 745 N. Rose Mofford Way, Globe, Arizona. One or more Commission Members may participate in the meeting via Microsoft Teams. ZONING ORDINANCE UPDATE WORK SESSION: Presentation of the Gila County Zoning Ordinance Assessment Report by Logan Simpson. The Planning and Zoning Commission will receive an overview of the Assessment Report prepared as part of the County’s Zoning Ordinance Rewrite project, discuss the report’s findings and recommendations, and be able to provide feedback to assist in the development of the updated Zoning Ordinance. Citizens may attend the hearing at Globe or Payson to provide their comments. Written comments related to the item may be submitted by 5:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, by emailing communitydevelopment@gilacountyaz.gov or by calling 928-474-7110 (press option 25).
