19604 11/28, 12/5/25 GILA COUNTY NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 08072025 GILA COUNTY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN Notice is hereby given that Gila County is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional planning services to update the Gila County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) in full compliance with federal and state standards including FEMA's Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101. Competitive sealed proposals for the specified material or service shall be received by the Gila County Procurement Group, 1400 East Ash Street, Globe, Arizona 85501, until the time and date shown below. Proposals received by the correct time and date shall be publicly recorded. Gila County takes no responsibility for informing recipients of changes to the original solicitation document. Failure to submit amendments with the solicitation response may be grounds for deeming submittal non-responsive. Proposals must be in the actual possession of the Gila County Procurement Group on or prior to the exact time and date indicated below. Late proposals shall not be considered. The prevailing clock shall be the clock on the Gila County Procurement Officer's cellular phone. 19601 11/25, 12/2/25 PUBLIC NOTICE YOU HAVE A VOICE IN AIR POLLUTION CONTROL IN ARIZONA The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) proposes to issue Significant Permit Revision Number 108440 under Air Quality Control Permit Number 91370 to Pinto Valley Mining Corp. for the construction and operation of one (1) emergency generator and the reclassification of two (2) existing generators from emergency to non-emergency status at the Pinto Valley Mine. The facility is a copper ore mining and processing facility located at 2911 N Forest Service Road 287, Miami, Arizona 85539 in Gila County. The mailing address for the facility is P.O. Box 100, Miami, Arizona 85539. The facility is subject to the requirements of the Federal Clean Air Act, Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 49-426, and the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 18, Chapter 2. The facility emits the following air contaminants: coarse particulate matter with diameters 10 micrometers or less (PM10), fine particulate matter with diameters 2.5 micrometers or less (PM2.5), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nitrogen oxides (NOX), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). This public notice provides information to help you participate in the decision-making process. The services provided at the landfill include solid waste disposal, redirecting green waste, recycling scrap metal, collecting and redirecting used oil, and collecting and redirecting tires. A map of the above described land is available for public review at the Payson Ranger District Office, 1009 E. Highway 260, Payson, Arizona. A Designation Order setting the above described lands aside for townsite purposes was issued by the Forest Supervisor, Tonto National Forest on November 6, 2025. In accordance with 36 CFR 254.22(b) and (c), this Designation Order segregates the described lands from mineral entry, but has no effect on valid, prior existing rights. The Designation Order will remain in effect until the described lands are conveyed or until it is cancelled by the Regional Forester. In accordance with 36 CFR 254.22, public comments must be filed within 45 days from first date of publication of this Notice.
