19796 7/17/26 LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Town of Payson Town Council will hold two public hearings to consider Ordinance No. 2026-105, adopting by reference the 2024 International Codes and amendments to Chapter 150 of the Payson Town Code. Public Hearing No. 1 The Town Council will receive public comment regarding the proposed ordinance. Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Time: 4:00pm Public Hearing No. 2 (Consideration of Adoption) The Town Council will conduct a second public hearing and may consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2026-105. Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 Time: 4:00pm Location: Town Council Chambers, 303 N. Beeline Highway, Payson, Arizona Ordinance Description Ordinance No. 2026-105 proposes adoption by reference of the following codes: • 2024 International Building Code (IBC) • 2024 International Residential Code (IRC) • 2024 International Mechanical Code (IMC) • 2024 International Plumbing Code (IPC) • 2024 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) • 2024 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) • 2024 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) • 2024 International Swimming Pool & Spa Code (ISPSC) • 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) • 2024 International Fire Code (IFC) • Associated Referenced Standards and Local Amendments The proposed ordinance updates the Town's construction and safety regulations to reflect current nationally recognized standards and includes local amendments specific to the Town of Payson. Public Inspection All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and comment on these proposed requests.
