19666 3/3/26 LEGAL NOTICE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gila County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2026, beginning at 9:00 A.M. The hearing will take place in the Community Development Conference Room at 610 E. State Highway 260 in Payson, Arizona and will be simultaneously telecast to the Public Works Conference Room, located at 745 N. Rose Mofford Way, Globe, AZ. One or more Board Members may participate in the meeting via Teams. APPEAL – USE PERMIT USEP2512-001 SANDRA HAYS (OWNER AND APPLICANT): An appeal has been filed regarding the Zoning Inspector’s decision/interpretation, which partially approved and partially denied a request to allow multiple structures and recreational vehicles to remain on the property prior to the establishment of a primary use (residence). The denial included a 30’ x 58’ steel RV cover, a 12’ x 16’ aluminum detached awning, and two (2) additional recreational vehicles, which were required to be removed within one hundred eighty (180) days of the decision letter. A 10’ x 12’ shed was approved subject to conditions. The subject property is located at 265 N. Dome Lane, Tonto Basin, Arizona (APN: 201-14-016F) and zoned General Unclassified District (GU). Citizens may attend the hearing at Globe or Payson to provide their comments.
