19266 10/29, 11/1/24 PSA from the Treasurer The following is an update issued by Gila County Treasurer Monica Wohlforth to northern Gila County. Since tax bills were mailed in September, residents may receive corrected tax bills. With the first half payments, the Treasurer’s Office will apply the overage towards the second half payments. As for full amount payments, “We prefer you send in a new check for the corrected bill. The first check will not be cashed”, or “We can apply the difference to 2025 taxes,” or “We can issue a refund. Payment types such as cashier’s check; money orders/special delivery envelopes will automatically receive refund checks. We apologize for any inconvenience.
