19570 10/17, 10/24/25 GILA COUNTY NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 06102025 SCRAP METAL RECYCLING SERVICES Notice is hereby given that Gila County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide service for collecting and recycling scrap metal from two (2) landfill sites operated by the County. This will include the purchase of scrap metal, ultimately for recycling, which the County has acquired as part of its waste management/recycling program. Competitive sealed proposals for the specified material or service shall be received by the Gila County Procurement Group, 1400 East Ash Street, Globe, Arizona 85501, until the time and date shown below. Proposals received by the correct time and date shall be publicly recorded. Gila County takes no responsibility for informing recipients of changes to the original solicitation document. Failure to submit amendments with the solicitation response may be grounds for deeming submittal non-responsive. Proposals must be in the actual possession of the Gila County Procurement Group on or prior to the exact time and date indicated below. Late proposals shall not be considered. The prevailing clock shall be the clock on the Gila County Procurement Officer's cellular phone. Proposal packets may be obtained by contacting the Gila County procurement officer below or may be downloaded from the County's website at: https://www.gilacountyaz.gov/government/finance/procurement/current bids.php Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The RFP number and the Responder's name and address should be clearly indicated on the outside of the envelope. Failure to clearly indicate RFP number, name and address on the outside of the proposal package or envelope may be cause for the proposal to be deemed invalid. All proposals must be completed in ink or typewritten. Questions must be addressed to the procurement officer listed below.
