19711 5/5/26 LEGAL NOTICE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gila County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 A.M. The hearing will take place in the Community Development Conference Room at 610 E. State Highway 260 in Payson, Arizona and will be simultaneously telecast to the Public Works Conference Room, located at 745 N. Rose Mofford Way, Globe, AZ. One or more Board Members may participate in the meeting via Teams. VARIANCE VARG2604-001 REFUGIO FALQUEZ III AND CHONA FALQUEZ (OWNER AND APPLICANT): An application has been submitted requesting a variance to allow a 10-foot by 14-foot shed to encroach into the required side yard setback. The existing structure, which was placed without a permit, is located 2 feet 3 inches from the side property line, where a 7-foot side setback is required. The subject property is located at 8747 S. Sharps Rd., Globe, AZ (APN 102-38-046) and is zoned Residential One District Limited Density Ten (R1L-D10). Citizens may attend the hearing at Globe or Payson to provide their comments.
