19712 5/5/26 LEGAL NOTICE GILA COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gila County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2026, beginning at 10:00 A.M. The hearing will take place in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 610 E. State Highway 260, Payson, Arizona, and will be simultaneously telecast to the Public Works Conference Room, located at 745 N. Rose Mofford Way, Globe, Arizona. One or more Commission Members may participate in the meeting via Microsoft Teams. REZONE CASE NUMBER REZONG2604-001 LAURA NORTHRUP AND GREGORY BROWN (OWNER AND APPLICANT): Request for the Planning and Zoning Commission to review and provide a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to change the zoning for Gila County Assessor’s Tax Parcel Number 205-07-020X, currently dual zoned Commercial Three District (C3) and Residential One District Density Eight (R1-D8), to designate the entire parcel as Residential One District Density Eight (R1-D8). The purpose of the rezoning is to allow residential home construction on this parcel. Assessor’s Parcel Number 205-07-020X is identified as parcel A2 of ROS 6094, Globe, Arizona, and is currently dual zoned Commercial Three District (C3) and Residential One District Density Eight (R1-D8). CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NUMBER CUPP2603-001 DARRIN AND REGINA DOTTLING (OWNER AND APPLICANT): Request for the Planning and Zoning Commission to review and provide a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors for a Conditional Use Permit on Gila County Assessor’s Tax Parcel Number 301-03-022U, to allow High Point Ranch/Darrin and Regina Dottling to host up to six (6) commercial private events per calendar year. The property is located at 10141 W. Fossil Creek Rd., Strawberry, Arizona (APN 301-03-022U), and is zoned Residential One District Density Thirty Five (R1-D35). Citizens may attend the hearing at Globe or Payson to provide their comments.
